In the 1950s, with the entry of the new generation into the company, the company expanded its production links by opening new factories and resorting to a constant process of technological innovation that contributed to making the GHIDINI brand even more famous throughout Italy.
Since the 1980s, the focus on design activity has evolved thanks also to the constant relationship with qualified external designers, whose synergy has fuelled the growing confrontation with new evolutionary trends.
The new millennium marks a period of continuous innovation and recognition for our company. In 2004, the Leonardo project won the prestigious Vele d'Oro award and was awarded the DfA (Design for All) seal of quality, confirming our leadership in innovative handles. This success reflects our constant dedication to excellence in design and functionality. Today, almost a century after our foundation, we continue to distinguish ourselves through our commitment to sustainability, innovation and attention to detail. These values, passed down from generation to generation, remain at the heart of our corporate identity and guide our every project, consolidating our position as a benchmark in the industry.
In particular, among all the activities we have the pleasure of mentioning, we would like to mention the birth of the periodical Manua, as well as the International Design Competition ’The handle for the third millennium', organised to celebrate the company's 70th anniversary. It is on this occasion that ’Infinita‘the innovative handle that resolves the relationship between plate and operating lever.
More recently created is the project Leonardowinner of the 2004 Vele d'Oro award and DfA seal of approval for its ability to best represent innovation in the handle sector.
